About ten thousand patients of the Group Health Centre in Sault Ste. Marie who will lose their family doctor on or after May 31, 2024 will have somewhere to turn for care. The patients are being de-rostered, losing their family physicians to retirements or resignations in what the president and CEO referred to last year as a “perfect storm”.
